My Blog is Too Sexy

As of right now, I have 100,505 views of this little blog ~ in just under ten months. Compared to real blogs, I’m certain that’s not a lot of traffic. However, it’s a lot of traffic to me!

It appears as though I’ve written my blog into a corner… But what a sexy corner it is! See, a whopping 80% of my “readers” arrive here after searching for pictures on Google. What, or who, are they searching for, you ask? Here are the top ten search terms people typed in to Google and found forshiggles (I attached the corresponding pics):

Kate Upton

Sofia Vergara

Adam Levine

Kim Kardashian

It’s funny… This is the only picture I’ve put up of Kim. I personally think her ass is gross; but it comes in at number four of all time…

Jessica Biel ass

Courtney Force

On the right….C’mon now! she’s a race car driver!

Jennie Finch

Erika Eleniak

Kate Upton boobs

Heather Kozar

Can you believe, for all the yapping I do about Danica Patrick, she comes in at number eighteen? Shocking!

It’s obvious that very few people come here for my writing. I’m an okay writer, I guess. Perhaps I need to diversify a bit more.

I am grateful that a lot of people found this blog by searching Hurler’s Syndrome. They then moved on to my friend’s site that details the struggles his family endures  while his twin boys battle this terrible genetic disorder. Did they donate money? I dunno… I sure hope someone did!

I also got a lot of traffic from people searching for the names of the four Brunswick children killed in the horrible accident on June 3rd of this year. I asked for help. A lot of people clicked over to the site that, at the time, was selling t-shirts to raise money for the families. Did they buy a shirt, or donate, to help out. Again, I dunno… I can only hope.

It’s 5:00 am and I need to get some sleep. It’s sort of funny, some of the big time bloggers I read talk about writing while in their underwear. This is the first time I’ve done it and, ya know what, it’s quite wonderful! I should do it more often!

Always remember…. Hug your children and love them every day

Blue Devils ~ Fly to the Angels….

I’ve wanted to do this all week, as it’s only a couple miles from my house; but kept avoiding the area. Today I did it…

I just drove by the site of the accident that claimed the lives of Jeff Chaya, Blake Bartchak, Lexi Poerner and Kevin Fox. By now, all four children have been laid to rest. Jeff and Blake on Thursday, Lexi yesterday and Kevin today.

Julia Romito is now at home recovering.

Like I said before, I didn’t know any of these children personally and only chatted a few times with Jeff’s parents at his sisters’ basketball games a few years ago. I can’t even imagine what they’re going through.

I parked my car and walked around for a few minutes…

I broke down in tears…

The outpouring of support from Brunswick, and surrounding communities, was overwhelming. I didn’t know if it was right to take a few pictures, but I did anyway. People need to know how supportive everyone has been to the families of these children we’ve all lost as a community… Click the images for full size…

Since I’m a fan of ’80s music I’ve selected the following tune to dedicate to the families of these beautiful children…

“All the stars in the night shine in your name”

In Which I Ask for Your Help ~ For Those We’ve Lost in Brunswick

I initially came up with this blog to be a means for me to vent or just talk about stuff to free up my brain cells so I can stay sharp at work. That hasn’t changed nor will it.

Now, as I’m reaching a much broader audience than facebook and twitter will allow, I can use this blog to maybe help make a difference. Yeah, most of my readers (viewers I suppose?) come to my blog looking for Danica Patrick’s ass or Kate Upton’s boobs…. but not all of ’em!

Here is where I attempt to help.

Yesterday I conveyed some thoughts about the recent tragic car accident that took the lives of Jeff Chaya, Blake Bartchak, Lexi Poerner and Kevin Fox… while leaving Julia Romita in the hospital recovering (heard she’s doing better!).

It’s bittersweet to drive around Brunswick and see all the blue and white ribbons adorning telephone poles, trees, mailboxes etc. in support of these children and their families. I love to see this community come together, unfortunately for all the wrong reasons…

Oh yeah… I’ve talked to people who automatically assume that drugs, alcohol or both (I’ll admit it… I thought that too, initially) were involved in this accident. They weren’t. Blake Bartchak’s brother, Brent, had a real nice interview with Fox 8 news last night. Unfortunately I cannot just embed the video here so I have to provide a link to Fox. Check it out HERE… It’s worth watching all seven minutes to get the real story and Brent’s first hand experience of the hours leading up to the accident.

I normally want blog traffic to see how many visitors I can get…. 3547 in a single day is my record. Tonight and moving forward I want maximum traffic of those who want to help. My blog hits essentially mean nothing… unless people help out.

Go HERE to buy a Brunswick T-shirt in remembrance of the four children we lost with prayers for Julia’s recovery. Here are the choices…

$7 per shirt goes to the families… There’s even a spot to donate if you don’t want to drop the $21 for a shirt.

Please help if you can…

Hug your children and love them every day….
